Indonesia is home to an extraordinary diversity of locally grown coffee, with plantations spread across its many islands. In our small coffee roastery at Joglo Gumuk, we roast primarily for our own guests, sourcing beans from independent farmers.
During this workshop, you will experience the journey of a green coffee bean as it is transformed into a fragrant, freshly roasted coffee. After roasting, we will set-up a guided coffee tasting featuring a selection of our current coffees. You will be introduced to the principles of coffee cupping and learn how to identify the wide range of aromas, flavors, and characteristics that make each coffee unique.
